Oikos to Ecology
Oikos is an Ancient Greek word meaning "house", "household", or "dwelling place" and combined with "logos" it is the root of the word ecology, indicating the study of relationships between living organisms and their environment. Ecology refers not just to the study of the physical structure of a habitat, but the entire, interconnected, functional "household" or ecosystem that supports life, from a small forest to the entire planet. |

Adriana is the Principal Ecologist at Oikos Environmental.
She has over 17 year's experience in consulting and she is an Accredited Assessor (BAAS18113) for application of the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) as per the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. We have ample experience delivering ecological assessments in terrestrial and aquatic environments. |
